A HUGE thank you to Alejandra van Amersfoort. In times where we could not get any information about what happened with our stuff and what happened with our money after we found out that X.* went bankrupt, Alejandra was the only stable force in the whole story. Whenever I had a panic attack again about what was happening with our container I could always call or write Alejandra and she skillfully guided me through the process and knew exactly what to do, with the end result being that we finally moved into our new home in Amsterdam and I am sitting on my own sofa writing these words.

Our experience with De Haan relation has been excellent. We had a complex moving schedule and tonnes of books to move, but all went very well, professional and in time. The communication with the back-office at De haan was very good - clear, to the point and the (many) questions we had were all answered quickly. The week of the moving itself was intense and as such it felt very good to be able to leave a lot into the experienced hands of the movers. They came with a big team, thought ahead, were careful with the delicate things, and precise and accurate - working according to a clear system to items would not 'get lost in the moving forest'. The movers were attentive (e.g. gave a quick call to inform us they had passed the border into Switzerland, our destination country) and also good for a laugh at times. We consider De Haan the 'gold standard' of relocation companies in the Netherlands and highly recommend them.

The reason we choose De Haan for our move from Hong Kong to Amsterdam is because we rely on De Haan expertise to unload & unpack. Our expectations met. The unloading & unpacking were within schedule, smooth & fast. The friendliness & helpfulness of the crew who came were beyond expectations. They were great! The apartment was empty & they thought outside the box by sharing hot coffee. It was so cool! After the unpacking, a few days later, we called for your guy to come to collect the leftovers boxes from our apartment, it was done within time. The guy came & took them out. What a service. Very good job, De Haan!

Zeer vriendelijk!Zeer klantgericht.Het enige is dat al onze mooie schalen op de zijkant zijn ingepakt. Dat wil zeggen het zwakste punt (de ronding) op de bodem. De mooiste kwam ook helaas gebroken aan (de andere hebben het wel overleefd).

We have moved 7 times over the years and never we have had such a perfect move. EVERYTHING has been superb and professional. Always very accommodating and respectful.

My husband and I want to compliment you highly on two members of your removal staff.

Today, after continually keeping us up-to-date as to when they would actually be arriving at our home, they reached us on time and with great regard as to where they should park their large vehicle so as not to obstruct our neighbours from entering and leaving the underground garage whilst in the process of their carrying our chattels to their truck.

From the moment we met both of them, it was a courteous and friendly encounter – and their very professional assessment of what was to be packed and how best they go should go about it impressed us from the outset.

Indeed, during our lifetime, my husband and I have changed countries nine times – moving house between the UK, Switzerland, Canada and Australia BUT NEVER have we had such a trouble-free and pleasant experience. Not only that, never have our chattels been packed with such care, speed, proficiency and attention to detail. We are absolutely impressed with these two gentlemen and will not hesitate to recommend them, respectively your company, to any of our friends and business acquaintances who contemplate relocating internationally.

Again, we thanks them million times for making our move back to Australia so much easier.

It goes without saying, that If you have a subsidiary/agent in Sydney (where we will need to store our chattels until we take possession of our new home) – we would like to take advantage of such a facility. Based on today’s experience, we feel very confident that you will also be able to recommend equally professional removalists who can, as well as moving us to our new home, also “put together again” the furniture which has today been so expertly packed, but which, of necessity (in order to take maximum advantage of the cubic metres allocated us and minimise the possibility of damage), needed to be taken apart by removing, furniture legs, cupboard doors, shelving etc..

Again, we cannot speak highly enough of these two employees, unfortunately we do not know their names, but are sure you will be able to identify them from our names and the date of our despatch to Australia from Switzerland.

Met De Haan heb ik het grootste deel van mijn huisraad per containerschip van Mexico naar Nederland verhuisd.
De ´partner' van De Haan in Mexico; Marimar Int. Seatransports, heeft het inpakken en inladen verzorgd. Een zeer professioneel team, goed op elkaar ingesteld én snel. Na het inladen in de container laten ze nog even snel zien hoe alles binnenin is vastgesjord. De boot deed er nét even langer over dan gepland, maar door slecht weer onderweg. De aankomst verliep zonder problemen en er werd keurig op tijd contact opgenomen. Ook werd de afleverdatum mooi aangepast aan onze wensen evenals het uur van de desbetreffende dag. De verhuizers/ uitpakkers wisten ook goed van aanpakken en waren goedgeluimd en vriendelijk. Al met al een vlotte en goed verlopen verhuizing...

Ik ben super tevreden over de gehele verhuisperiode! Prima samenwerking in goede verstandhouding!

The entire process was made very simple for me, from the online communication to the coordination of movingmy things to Amsterdam. My contact in de Haan was very friendly, flexible and helpful as were the two moverswhom I met in Amsterdam. The only small problem was that when the movers arrived in Carouge, Switzerland(my starting point) the moving documents had not been updated from Rotterdam to Amsterdam as per myphone discussion with de Haan. But then my things finally did arrive at the correct location after I called deHaan about this issue.

De verhuizing is erg soepel verlopen. De verhuizers waren vriendelijk en flexibel en werkten snel en zorgvuldig. De service was top.

Yesterday the removal truck left with all of our worldly possessions after two days of packing. The team were fantastic and I would like to pass on my appreciation to their boss.  They were not only super friendly and helpful but extremely efficient.  I have made many international moves in my career and this was by far the best experience I have had of packing up a house. I hope that one of this team can accompany the container down to Madrid for delivery as they really know what they are doing.
