De Haan employees that I was in communication with or met during the packing for transport and subsequent arrival at my address were swift, professional and a credit to the company. It took all the worry and concerns for an international relocation. Although I packed some personal items the remainder were packed by De Haan and upon arrival all items unpacked were more than sufficient to protect my precious items, in fact I would not even both to pack anything personal and leave it to them.

Overall, an excellent service.  Some problems with delayed delivery to the destination.  The delay itself was not the fault of De Haan (customs at UK port) however I was not provided with an estimated arrival time at all, and the subsequent delays were only communicated after I had been waiting several hours.\n\nDelivery was well managed once the transport arrived, and the locally arranged support team were excellent.

De Haan provded a highly professional service, emptying our third floor flat in Amsterdam during the pouring rain without losing their sense of humoir, or dropping anything. They brought the household contents to the UK and unloaded everything... again in the pouring rain. Almost everything arrived in the condition it left the flat in. One minor causalty was a dented kitchen bin. If I had to move across boarders from the Netherlands, I would strongly reccomend De Haan.

This last one however was the least enjoyable, due to the moving services at origin arriving the day before the expected collection time. Other than that the service has been professional and expert. It was a relatively simple move and all people involved did a good job by meeting expectations on timing. Something to improve is the check-list format, where the numbering of the items is difficult to follow as it only includes the last digit. Perhaps a column with all the digits of the numbers for the items is written.

Er was begrip voor mijn uitzonderlijke situatie (ik verhuisde zelf niet mee met mijn goederen) en ik kreeg uitstekende informatie, uitleg en advies (w.b. transport, verzekering, douane) en vlot antwoord op mijn verdere vragen. Bij overdracht van verantwoordelijkheid werd ik tijdig geinformeerd, met de nodige nieuwe kontaktgegevens. Het inpakken gebeurde zeer zorgvuldig en dat werd bij het uitpakken nogmaals bewonderd, Iedereen (het kantoor- en loods-personeel in Alblasserdam, als ook de agent en verhuizers in Vancouver / Calgary, Canada) met wie ikzelf of mijn familie te maken kreeg, was vriendelijk, bereidwillig en hulpvaardig. Veel dank voor deze goede en prima verlopen ervaring.

Omdat mijn terugkeer naar thuisland, anders is verlopen dan gehoopt, is er enig comunicatie problemen geweest met contact houden en verzenden van post. Het los proces verliep geweldig, snel en professioneel. Alles is verder fantastisch opgeslagen geweest en aangekomen.
