 I was impressed with the level of professionalism of the De Haan commercial department and the move coordinator in the Netherlands. The local movers in the US (Dodge) were less impressive and we had to step in ourselves a number of times. Also the services of SCL were very good. One thing that was slightly disappointing was the fact that especially some stuff that was packed by the movers turned out to be damaged. That said, the insurance paid out very quickly and without hassle through De Haan.

The move was smooth, and all movers (in Amsterdam and Manila) were skilled and overall friendly. My only complaint was that we thought the move would start at 8:30am (as we asked a couple of times to start not before that time), but nobody appeared at that time. At 9am we called Marvin (contact person in Manila) and he mentioned that they would be there between 10-11....without any notice in advance. We were also the ones following and asking when the move could take place, but it took a while (until 2 days before the actual move)  to get a date. Overall, we are happy and satisfied with the move. Good job!

This was generally a good experience. After initial quote was developed, job was turned over to coordinator who communicated well and things went smoothly from there. Scheduling went as to plan which was informed to me well. Terrific teams at both end (knowledgable, hard working and considerate throughout.

A very quick and sharp quoation. Good short term scheduling. In time at loading address where an inventory was made. Also directly started the packing. Quickly and secure packing and loading. Great service! Regardless of a litlle set back, De Haan Relocation managed to turn it around and handled our moving experience with grace and professionalism.

My relocation went via groupage, my goods were transported by sea container together with the goods of others. The goods went through hands a lot of times, so with this kind of transport there is a bigger risk of damages. During the entire transport only 3 items got broken, very fragile items. This could have been worse, I suppose. Final conclusion: in case I need an international relocation company again, I do not need to search. De Haan, since 1777, and many more years to go!

I would have no hesitation in recommending De Haan Relocation.  From start to finish they were extremely helpful and efficient.  All the goods were picked up at the agreed time and delivered in perfect condition at the agreed time.  All staff we had contact with were extremely helpful and efficient.

Despite the fact that our goods were transported by air, they have been stored for 10 days abroad before they flew to Schiphol. A lot of documents are asked by the shipper for the clearance of international relocations. Further a good job both at packing and unpacking.

Just like the last time, we have been served from A-Z. This has given us a lot of rest in a very chaotic and exciting period. We absolutely recommend De Haan

We have used De Haan Relocation for our removal from Singapore to the Netherlands. Both the packing crew in  Singapore as the delivery crew in the Netherlands were capable, helpful, friendly and hard working. Our goods have arrived alright and have been transported properly. Our contact persons at De Haan were very helpful and correct.

Overall a positive experience. You adapted to our needs and the services were really professional. The main point of improvement is to provide better information from the beginning on the importance of trying not to change dates. Also, it can be a good practice to suggest to your client that she informs her neighborhood. In our case in Spain this isn't mandatory (but I believe it is a good thing to do) but in Chile you have to do it. Coming from Spain we found out about this last minute. Fortunately Chileans were nice to us and adjusted. I believe this can make you earn points with your clients.

De Haan was professional, friendly, and helpful from the moment I first phoned to ask them about price right through to arrival at my home in the US. The packing of my piano and personal effects was of such high quality that I have no complaints at all.  Even the little box with my fragile glassware arrived completely intact.  The price they offered was very competitive -- also important! 

A complicated removal from the Netherlands from beginning to end perfectly managed!
