Experiences are fine. Paid import duties and taxes were a disappoinment and could have been prevented in my opinion. For a certain part unjustified.

Of course De Haan always tries to avoid extra costs within the applicable laws and regulations. In case you do not meet the requirements for duty and tax free import of your goods and all legal options have been investigated, there is no other option than payment of import duties and taxes.

The unpacking of the boxes went really fast, I could not check the list to see if all boxes were delivered, this list was quickly signed by the movers, and half an hour later they returned with a box they found, this was signed for, but not delivered. Eventually all ended well, but this way I could not check whether all boxes were really delivered.

Experiences are fine. The paid customs charges were a disappointment and could have been prevented in my opinion (certainly not justified for a big part).

The men on location were great! We have laughed and nothing was to much, they were super fast and friendly! Mathilda in the office has also helped us very well with everything, she was very friendly and flexible! Really recommend them! The only minus is that you hear so late in advance when they will arrive! But I understand why it works this way in combination transport.

Everything was quite good, especially support we received from office personnel. However coordination of unpacking at destination wasn't performed in best way as workers didn't communicate between each other, I am reffering here to the fact that truck drivers didn't speak English. Stating goods that cannot be packed in boxes months before the move takes place, appears to be a problem when these goods are calculated as extra later on, even if it's within the agreed volume. Move went fast and well, right on time with fast working personnel.

Mostly I think that your partner in the US was not good at communication-hard to get someone on the phone, hard to schedule things, and when the survey was planned they cancelled without telling me, I took a day off for nothing and waited for no one...The only good thing was their movers, they were very nice, skilled, fast. Reason to give 8 in the first two boxes is due to the fact that it was not clear till the quotation arrived to me that there was a minimum price - related to 6 m3 - independently of the space my things was occupying and due to the fact that the delivery date changed after I have already executed the payment. In case I disagreed, anyway I didn't have any option to change the situation. For the rest, it was an excellent service.

The move from Bandung to Can Tho went very well (except the remark at #10). The moving company in Bandung was very experienced and Mrs Fera communicated very well. Overall the communication was good. We were very pleased to receive our stuff almost 6 weeks after leaving our house in Bandung. This was really fast. Also thanks to the moving company in Vietnam. Everything was packed very carefully so apart from some glasses nothing was broken.

The movers were friendly and did their work professionally.The only thing that I felt needed a bit of clarity is the break down of the quote could be a bit more clear. Or perhaps offer different solutions for people who want to move smaller size items and don't necessarily need an entire ship container for their move. If that is a possibility.
