After our search for a reliable and professional mover, we came across De Haan. A friendly and practical thinking organization that took care of the move safely and quickly. We highly recommend De Haan!

From the first contact it was clear how the move to and temporary storage in NL would go and at what cost. All agreements are flexibly scheduled and fulfilled during the process. Communication with De Haan was very pleasant. The removal teams in Pt and NL were friendly, cheerful and handled our household effects very neatly.

All very well arranged. Wasn't cheap but I can't believe we should have done this ourselves.

Good company but personally I would think three times, what I am moving to another country. I think the cost is unrealistically high compared to the value of your stuff. The additional, unforeseen costs are not always the fault of De Haan, but could have been better told.

I was very happy with De Haan’s service.They were super flexible and assisted me during some very complicated period with a lot of understanding and patience.\nThey basically saved me after another company (Smilda) cancelled my move one week before the move date.\nUnlike other companies, de Haan didn’t take advantage of the desperate situation in which I was at that point and gave me a really fair price. Another point was that I changed my destination from Portugal to Spain while my stuff was still in the storage in the Netherlands. Instead of charging me more, they gave me a partial refund since the tariff   to the new destination was cheaper. I don’t think many service providers would have done that. I recommend them to anyone who plans a move, their move coordinators are very patient and showed great understanding to my situation.

I was a little apprehensive at the cost, but now I would 100% hire De Haan again. Exceeded my expectations. 

The preparations were good and de Haan was very thoughtful and clear. That gave a lot of confidence. It is a pity that the execution itself went too hastily, resulting in a number of unnecessary damage. In addition, a damaged table was further damaged because the movers repaired it on their own initiative.

Everything well organized!

Perfectly arranged, the men arrived in Portugal on time. They arranged everything well and immediately took back the packaging material cardboard of the new furniture, very nice

Everything was really well organized! Nothing was too much trouble for the men and it really felt that we were taken care of so that we at least didn't have to worry about the stuff to be moved. In the Netherlands we had packed most of our stuff ourselves and that is the only thing we regret... we should have had everything done by De Haan :-)!

De Haan provides competent, efficient and accomodating moving services. I was able to book my relocation with relatively short notice and for a rather small cargo. The moving van was on time, the loading was very quick and professional (and gentle on the boxes) and, after a few weeks, the offloading at my destination was exactly the same. I am happy with my choice, and I will recommend this company to anyone who asks.

De Haan employees that I was in communication with or met during the packing for transport and subsequent arrival at my address were swift, professional and a credit to the company. It took all the worry and concerns for an international relocation. Although I packed some personal items the remainder were packed by De Haan and upon arrival all items unpacked were more than sufficient to protect my precious items, in fact I would not even both to pack anything personal and leave it to them.

Overall, an excellent service.  Some problems with delayed delivery to the destination.  The delay itself was not the fault of De Haan (customs at UK port) however I was not provided with an estimated arrival time at all, and the subsequent delays were only communicated after I had been waiting several hours.\n\nDelivery was well managed once the transport arrived, and the locally arranged support team were excellent.  

De Haan organized our relocation excellently and efficiently with good communication and a professional team.

Everything went well, a few scratches on the furniture, I was able to fix it myself.
